  • Perfect for small projects, styling help, or as-you-go support. Includes sourcing, design planning, and onsite work.

  • Includes initial consult, custom mood board, sourcing list, layout sketch, and two rounds of revisions. Does not include cost of furnishings.

  • Great for seasonal or small-area updates (entryways, nooks, bookshelves). Includes up to 4 hours of design time.

  • For clients who want to do the heavy lifting themselves, with some guidance. Includes advice on layout, paint, styling, and sourcing. This can even include a trip to sourcing locations to scout decor items and furniture.

  • Our design journey begins not with paint swatches or Pinterest boards — but with something more personal: a visit to a local museum of your choosing.

This first consultation is an immersive, shared experience where we observe what catches your eye and stirs your imagination. Are you drawn to the honesty of Shaker furniture, the bold geometry of 20th-century textiles, or the storytelling in folk art? What speaks to you — and just as importantly, what doesn’t?

This isn’t just a design exercise. It’s a chance to reflect on your tastes, your history, and your sense of beauty. From these observations, we begin crafting a style language that’s uniquely yours — rooted in what moves you, not what’s trending.

This is what makes Oak & Pine different: I want to know you, not just decorate your house. I don’t design at you — I collaborate with you.

  • After our museum visit, we move from inspiration to intention.

You’ll complete a short design questionnaire to give insight into how you live, what you love, and what needs attention. Meanwhile, I’ll gather photos and measurements of your space — either through a home visit or images you provide.

With your responses and MIA inspiration in hand, I’ll craft a personalized mood board and layout sketch. These reflect your style and needs — not generic templates, but a starting point for a home that feels like you.

Together, we’ll review and refine. This step sets the foundation for sourcing and styling with purpose and clarity.

  • With a shared vision in place, we move into the final stage: sourcing, styling, and bringing your space to life.

This is where collaboration continues — through ongoing check-ins, shared decisions, and hands-on support. From finding the right vintage cabinet to styling a bookshelf with both beauty and meaning, every choice reflects your story, your needs, and your hopes for the space.

We’ll work side by side (virtually or in person) to ensure the final result isn’t just well-designed — it feels like home. The goal is never perfection, but harmony: a space that works for your life, reflects your values, and brings daily joy.

This final step is about celebrating the process and honoring your vision. Together, we make it real.
